1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site with no government role. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves certified files, conducts official checks, or files papers for a visitor.
The guides direct readers to the Delaware County Sheriff and courts, DCJS Personal Record Review through IdentoGO, eCourts WebCriminal, DOCCS, and the New York State Sex Offender Registry. New York Freedom of Information Law, Public Officers Law Article 6, §§84-90, governs requests to covered government agencies. Executive Law §837 authorizes DCJS criminal-history functions and dissemination, which is why a general FOIL request to this private site cannot produce a DCJS rap sheet.
